Those feisty Mancunian brothers, Liam and Noel Gallagher, have had more fallings-out than we've had hot dinners (as they say in the U.K.). But this round seems slightly more serious than the usual physical or verbal skirmish. Liam has filed a high-court action in reaction to Noel's allegation that he pulled out of Oasis' 2009 headline performance at the V Festival in England because of a "hangover." Liam maintains that he had laryngitis, according to the diagnose of a doctor, and claims that his older brother's comments went "way beyond rock-'n'-roll banter and questioned my professionalism." "I tried to resolve this amicably but have been left with no choice but legal action," he said, adding, "All I want is an apology." But considering that the brothers have parted ways, any apology may be a long time coming, unless an eventual court case dictates otherwise.
